Play Online Roulette

Roulette is one of the most fun games in a casino. It is a fast paced, easy to understand game where cautious gamblers can get a good bang for their buck, and aggressive gamblers can get the buzz they so desire, watching the ball jump from number to number. Will it land on their number or won’t it? The spin of the wheel is one of gambling’s great anticipation moments.

There are many systems that players claim can beat roulette, but like most systems (with the exception of card counting in Blackjack) most don’t work. The only sure fire way to narrow your odds at roulette is to find a wonky roulette table with a bad dealer. Here is how: A roulette table has to be on a totally flat surface, and I mean absolutely 100% leveled. If the surface is even a tiny bit out, that table opens itself up to a pattern – the ball will gravitate towards a certain point on the roulette wheel. If the dealer (the spinner of the wheel), is also spinning exactly the same every time, starting the ball off in exactly the same place, then a clearer pattern can start to form. Having said this, it still takes someone with a huge amount of experience to spot the patterns and act on them before the tables are leveled again at the end of the night (if the casino operatives are sharp enough).

I have seen this occur once when I was with a holidaying London croupier in the Casino de Namur in Belgium (the oldest casino in the world). He suddenly got very excited and asked me to hand the fistful of notes I had won on the Blackjack table. He bet the lot on neighbors 12 (number “12” and the two numbers either side of “12” as they appear on the roulette wheel). The number next to 12 came in (we won). He then bet on a number on the opposite side of the wheel to where the ball had landed and placed the original stake again (had it been his own money I am sure he would have bet the profits as well). Again we won, and a twice more too. Afterwards he went and had a chat with the pit boss and the table was closed. Once a croupier always a croupier.
